Building at the edge of the wave

A general manager's instinct, sharpened across a decade-plus of executive roles in consumer brands.

General Management P&L Ownership Digital & DTC Team Building

Jason Pawloski has spent twenty-five years in digital commerce, the last decade-plus leading global eCommerce and direct-to-consumer organizations for consumer brands. He led global digital at Masimo Consumer — home to the Sound United audio brands, including Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, and Marantz — and held vice-president roles at EastPoint Sports, Escalade Sports, and Haworth.

Earlier, he built and led direct-to-consumer technology and experience at Wolverine Worldwide, across brands including Merrell, Saucony, and Sperry. Across every seat, the pattern held: enter when the value is large and uncaptured, build the operating system that captures it, and hand off something durable.

The Entrepreneur
Jason Pawloski — founder and fractional Chief Digital Officer Founder · Fractional CDO

Founder, advisor, operator-for-hire

From the executive suite to the founder's chair — and the discipline of building something of his own.

Jason co-founded, scaled, and exited Arcadia Digital, a digital commerce agency he built from the ground up. Alongside it he served as a fractional Chief Digital Officer and advisor — parachuting into consumer brands to stand up demand engines, modernize commerce infrastructure, and give leadership teams a clear operating picture.

The agency taught him as much about building a business as running one: what a durable demand system actually requires, where value compounds, and why the discipline of closing a decision beats the comfort of keeping options open. Today he operates under Baywood Ventures, his holding company for advisory work and acquisitions.

"I've seen Jason close the Growth Gap more than once — different businesses, different teams, different challenges. This isn't luck. It's a repeatable approach."

Jason Pawloski — family, golf, and the outdoors

Husband, dad, and student of the game

Jason lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife and children — the center of gravity for everything else. West Michigan is home, and staying present for family is the whole point of building assets that separate time from income.

Outside of work he's chasing scratch golf on the simulator and the course, running an annual group fishing trip, keeping music close, and staying after his own longevity and fitness. There's always a next adventure on the board.
